Anoop is one of two managing directors for the Sambe group of
companies. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, and Masters in Business
Management from Bajaj, Mumbai he has been running his own businesses for the
past 25 years and has been at the forefront of discovering and creating new
opportunities in the recruitment and placement of Indian professionals. Before
starting his own business Anoop was a Senior Marketing executive in the Garware
group of companies. Prior to that he was the Overall Purchase Manager at Mazagon
Docks, Mumbai - ninth largest ship building yard in the world.
In 1979 along with his brother Dilip Saxena - Anoop helped
to found Ambe International. It was the first recruitment firm to be registered
with the Indian Government for the express purpose of recruiting Indian personnel
for positions overseas. It started with placing technical Indian professionals
for the burgeoning oil and gas industry in the Middle East. Since then Ambe
has helped to place more than 40,000 candidates in diverse sectors to all parts
of the globe. Today the firm has exclusive recruiting agreements with Engineering
and Oil and Gas giants such as M.W. Kellogg (US), ALBA (Bahrain), GALFAR (Oman),
JGC (Japan) and Sembawang Shipyard (Singapore). Ambe has helped place Indian personnel/professionals
in varied sectors such as construction, hotel, education, medicine, manufacturing
and information technology industries.
Anoop actively manages and provides oversight for the finances
for all companies in the Sambe group. Even today - Anoop enjoys hands on management
of the technical assessment, interviewing and screening of jobseekers for clients.
More recently - he has increasingly started spending more time pursuing social
service and voluntary work with the Sathya Sai Samiti Organisation.

Dilip started his career with marketing at Emerck in 1971.
He then moved to working with 2 UK based firms - Gomba Group of companies and
Primlaks Group of Companies as their promotional director - managing investments,
public relations and business operations in India - which included shipping,
waffle production and human resources consulting.
In 1979, he helped found Ambe International with his brother
- Anoop Saxena. Since then he has helped build the Sambe Group into a collection
of companies with a sound financial base, a stellar track record in delivery,
and excellent client references.
Dilip actively manages the operations and administration of
Sambe Engineers and Sambe Elelctronics. These manufacturing facilities are based
200 km from Mumbai in a fast growing industrial town called Nasik. These facilities
are engaged in the manufacture of sheet metal parts, components for trailer
engines, electrical regulators, relays and starters. Sambe Engineers is involved
in sheet metal fabrication and mechanical components design. It designs and
manufactures dies and pressed components for Le Grand of France. Sambe Electronics
has been involved in manufacture of fan regulators for nationwide sales and
distribution of Crompton and Greaves for the past 12 years. More recently -
Sambe Electronics has taken up sub-component assembly of master circuit breakers
for MDS Switchgear. It holds a capacity to assemble a half of a million such
circuit breaker components annually and is operating under ISO 9001 certification.
Dilip has keen business interests in real-estate - having completed
a turn key project involving development of unconstructed land into a series
of residential row houses on the banks of the Godavari river in Nasik.
Dilip lives in Mumbai but spends part of his week and all of
his holidays in Nasik - which has by far much more pleasant weather. There he
participates actively in social activities and was recently the secretary of
Nasik's prestigious Diner club.

Amit holds a bachelors degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Mumbai
University and a master's degree in Computer Engineering from Rice University,
US.
Amit started out his career working with Baker Atlas, Houston writing in-house
measurement and calibration software. Since then he has accumulated 6 years
of experience working with Sapient in San Francisco/New Delhi and Accenture
in London/Mumbai where he worked on consulting and Information Technology based
projects with clients like Franklin Templeton, Thomas Weizel Partners, Scudder-Kemper
Investments, ChemConnect.com, Vignette, Caterpillar, Mail.com, California State
Automobile Association (CSAA) and Disney.
In 1999 he helped create a recruitment services portal (IndianPersonnel.com) for Ambe International. Since then he has also architected and helped build web-based products for HR-functions (Paperless Recruitment, Resume Repository and Recruitment Microsite). These products have been used in-house by Ambe for 3 years and purchased and used by several existing clients of Ambe International.
More recently - Amit has been involved in recruitment assignments for Ambe
International to do with Information Technology requirements. He has also been
involved in prospecting and business development for the Sambe Group of companies
in the US and UK.
